Cosmetic product safety report

Cosmetic product safety report (CPSR) is a mandatory document for all cosmetic products placed on the European and UK market. It demonstrates the safety of a cosmetic product by assessing the physicochemical and toxicological properties of all ingredients, traces and residues, as well as the product itself, taking into account all possible routes of exposure.

Our safety reports include the ingredient (INCI) list, as it should be stated on the label. In case the product is assessed as unsafe, we give detailed explanations, as well as suggestions for adjustment of the formula.

Safety assessor requires this information about the product and raw materials:

Raw materials:

• Technical data sheets

• Safety data sheets

• Composition declarations

• Declarations on traces and residues

• IFRA conformity certificates and Allergen declarations for any aromas or essential oils

Cosmetic product:

• Details on packaging

• Instructions of use, as stated on the packaging

• Stability test results (date of minimum durability)

• Results of microbiological/ challenge testing, if needed for the product type

• Results of any additional tests
